Just an update

I'm still alive, if you're wondering.

I've been swamped with homework and honors projects and other various time-consuming things. I've haven't been thinking of this blog for a while and just remembered it yesterday. I'll do my best to keep it updated from here on out.

The First Entry

First things first.  I just want to thank y'all for coming around and visiting.  As this is my first post, I feel it suiting to expound upon what this blog is all about (after all, you need to know what you're reading, right?).  So without further adeau, here are the principle four things you could expect to see on a regular basis in a typical blog posting by yours truly.

1.  There will be a small tidbit of paradox in each post.  It may be a whole paragraph, or it could just be an ancient proverb that no one's ever heard about.
2.  Irony is my friend.  I find it hilarious.  If you dislike irony in any way shape or form, this is not the blog for you.  Go to the non-ironic blog where there're pictures of dogs barking and fish swimming.  I'm sure you'll enjoy those very, very unique occurrences much more than my silly irony.
3.  As you read, I'm very sarcastic.  It is a staple of who I am.  If you're offended easily, or don't have a funny bone in your body; if you don't enjoy reading sarcasm, or can't distinguish the truth from its alter-ego then this blog isn't for you.
4.  No ordinary news will show up here.  You won't hear any of the depressing stories that reporters seem to thrive off of, and you won't see the stock prices at the close of the day.  You may hear about a run-in I had with a lawnmower, or about how a skydiver forgot to pull his parachute cord and survived after hitting a flock of birds on his way to the ground, slowing his fall (This of course could never happen, because the birds would become very livid and only peck him as he continued to hurtle to the earth.  It was merely a demonstration).

Expect a new post at least twice a week, most likely more as I try to get into a rhythm.  Keep coming back and don't be surprised if the site looks completely different one day.  I may just create my own layout somehow.  With that, the official introduction is complete.  Thank you for your time and I look forward to hearing from you.  As that one astronaut said, "That's one small step for man [meaning blog, of course], and one giant leap for mankind [also meaning the blogging community]."

Keep checkin' in,
Luke
